Hondius Photography Workshop

Sharpen your photography skills in some of the planet’s most picturesque places

Hondius Photography Workshop

Make your finest polar media aboard m/v Hondius

What better excuse to practice your picture-taking talents than a trip to the polar regions, where every day offers an incomparable sensory experience?

On select Hondius voyages, you can partake in photography workshops free of charge (included in your booking). Whether you’re new to photography or a veteran, these fun and interactive activities will help you capture your polar adventures in vibrant detail.

How Hondius photography workshops work

Our photography workshops are composed of onboard lectures and practical activities led by a dedicated expedition guide. Each session is meant to give you additional skills you can put into immediate practice out in nature.

You'll become more familiar with your own camera equipment while also learning best practices for taking pictures of moving wildlife and wide-open terrain in typical polar conditions, such as dim lighting and falling snow.

Equipment you'll need for Hondius photo workshops

The right camera for you is largely a matter of personal preference, and it is best that you practice photography by using equipment you're comfortable with rather than a camera you'll only have for the duration of an expedition cruise.

We do not, therefor, provide camera equipment on any of our Hondius photography workshops. Please bring your own if you wish to partake in this activity.
