Polar Cuisine in Pictures

by Oceanwide Expeditions Blog

Just because you’re traveling in some of the planet’s least civilized locations doesn’t mean your cuisine has to be barbaric.

Our current Arctic and Antarctic menu highlights

Just because you've embarked on a polar expedition cruise to some of the planet's wildest locations doesn't mean your cuisine has to be uncivilized.

In fact, you'll enjoy your voyage all the more after a robust yet delicious meal.

Two of our gifted chefs, Khabir Moraes and Ralf Barthel, sent us photos of some of their favorite dishes, desserts, and appetizers they serve on Plancius and Ortelius, and we're happy to highlight them here - followed by a picture-only free-for-all of multiple culinary delights set against the stunning backdrop of the snowy polar landscape.

If you can look at these without drooling, you’re a better person than we are.
