Very amazing

A journey into the Arctic to the pack ice is a unique experience. The landscapes are truly extraordinary, offering the chance to see Arctic wildlife. It is not just a trip, but an experience that fosters a love for nature. Thanks to Oceanwide Expeditions for the excellent organization and the engaging, informal atmosphere. The presence of a knowledgeable, professional staff—combined with their kindness and helpfulness—ensures that nothing is left to chance, whether during shore excursions or on board. Excellent cuisine. They deserve 5 stars!

Fantastic trip, exceeded all expectations. Extraordinary landscapes with splendid galciers and Artic desert. We sailed along the Artic ice pack and saw polar bears, whales, walruses, seals, Artic foxes and birds. The staff was extraordinary, competent and attentive to safety. Very friendly onboard staff, excellent cuisine! A five stars experience.

Cruise cancelled after we left home, on our return we googled the ship and found this wasn't the 1st one to have mechanical issues Oceanwide knew our flights details and had the opportunity to tell our UK tour operator in advance of our flights Our tour operator got us home and a full refund, unclear what Oceanwide contributed to their costs Advise all to book a package with a reputable operator from their own country Don't trust the vessel nor Oceanwide and won't be sending any more money in their direction

We had booked fully paid for our adventure to Antartica in MV Plancius and they cancelled the trip literally 4 days before departure. Waited a whole year to go on that trip So disappointed, how can we trust them again. Still waiting to go to Antartica and step on the beautiful continent.

Wonderful experience .. I wonder why I didn't do it before !!!! Expecially in nov-dec you can find many nesting species and chicks . Great treatment on the ship : you will learn so many things ...

Die Reise startete super, da wir viel sagen auf den Falklands und in Südgeorgien. Aber dann kam der Hammer. Wir führen anstatt in die Antarktis, was natürlich der eigentliche Grund für die Reisebuchung war, zurück nach Ushuaia wegen Motorschaden. Der Clou an der Sache war, dass wir erfuhren, dass das Schiff bereits aus der Reperatur kam, die vorhergehende Reise bereits ausfiel und die Reise davor auch abgebrochen wurde. Na und nun ist das Schiff wieder kaputt, wie ich von Mitreisenden erfuhr, die erneut buchten, um den Verlust der ersten Reise zu minimieren. Mir tun alle Beteiligten leid, egal ob Passagiere oder Besatzungsmitglieder. Mein Fazit: Nie wieder. Mein Lebenstraum wurde zerstört

Speziell der Tag im Packeis war ein ganz besonderes Erlebnis. Gesamte Mannschaft der Plancius und das Expeditionsteam haben dazu beigetragen, daß wir viel sehen und erleben, uns wohlfühlen und eine wunderbare Zeit genießen.

On the last day of the trip log it says: “Saying goodbye is never easy, but it often also means that you’ve had a fantastic time and that made it totally worth it.“ I am pretty sure I was the inspiration (or one of many) bawling my eyes out which made Guide Valeria sing “don’t cry for me Argentina”. Well dear staff and crew of Plancius, I am almost done planning my next trip to Antarctica (via Argentina) on Plancius in 2026 so I can’t promise I won’t cry again. This trip has been nothing but magical and I will treasure it forever. Thank you 🩵

The trip on Plancius far exceeded my expectations. Every effort was made to get ashore or see wildlife and to maximize time off the ship / encounter with nature. The guides were of an extremely high standard and were extremely enthusiastic. Keep doing what your doing Oceanwide.

We had a great trip which gave us all that we were hoping for. Incredible number of whales and pinguins and beautiful weather after a very stormy drake passage. Crew and guides were amazing with all the interesting lectures and wonderful food and service. Also the other guests on the boat were great. I truly recommend this trip.
