Comment from Oceanwide Expeditions
We’re sorry your Antarctic voyage was cancelled so close to departure, and fully understand how disappointing that must have been after waiting so long for the trip. A limited number of m/v Plancius departures were affected last season, all due to operational and safety considerations for guests and crew. While disappointing and frustrating, the decision to cancel voyages for these reasons was not taken lightly, and every effort was made to ensure the voyage could proceed as planned.
All impacted guests were offered alternative booking options, future travel credit, or a full refund, and we hope you were able to take advantage of the additional credit offered at the time.
We hope you are able to still enjoy the polar adventure you were looking forward to with us at a later stage. If you wish to discuss this further, please reach out to us directly.
