It was a fantastic trip!! The way how Oceanwide managed everything is extraordinary. The landings ashore were so well organised: plenty of SPACE and TIME !!!!!! Fantastic how we could do our own thing. It was my fifth trip with Oceanwide, and this one I enjoyed the most!
Thanks a lot to the staff for their patience and help during the landings and a special thanks, to the expeditionleaders.
Tout fut parfait : équipage du bateau, personnel de service bar restaurant, équipe de guides de Ali, exposés, promenades à terre pour côtoyer la faune sur leur plages, leurs rivières, leurs glaciers, oui j'ai une photo à partager : cliente gravement malade évacuée avec professionnalisme à un hôpital Argentina, bravo
It was the most fantastic experiance ever. No words. Made me so happy (even decided to go with the ortelius immediatly after)
This expedition has been exceptional! Even when the weather was not good, we had activities : the staf was efficient and very friendly. It was an exceptionnal experience in another world.

Don’t think about it, just book it! Also, the Drake Passage can be, and it was in our case, very chil, relaxed and easy…so, don’t worry about that!

Die Reise ans "Ende der Welt" war eine tolle Erfahrung und hat meine Erwartungen erfüllt, z.T. übertroffen. Schade, dass wir an der Antarktischen Halbinsel nicht anlanden konnten wegen des vielen Eises. Ich würde allen Leuten empfehlen, die Reise zu einem späteren Zeitpunkt zu planen. Die Guides waren alle top. Sie haben unglaublich viel geleistet und viel zum Erfolg beigetragen (Anlandungen, Vorträge!). Überhaupt war die gesamte Schiffscrew grossartig - von der Kabine bis zur Küche, von der Brücke bis zum Restaurant Service. Alle freundlich, aufgestellt und hilfsbereit. Ein besonderes Lob verdient die Küche. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet, vielfältig und frisch.
Ganz toll finde ich die Filmzusammenfassung und die wunderbaren Bilder von Yves, die wir an Ende der Reise entgegennehmen durften. Vielen herzlichen Dank für diese tolle Erinnerung. Ich sehe sie mir jeden Tag mind. einmal an.
My expedition cruise to the Falklands, South Georgia, and Antarctica was phenomenal! The expedition guides, crew, and ship staff were first class - always happy to answer questions, chat about nature, and help when needed. Very professional, knowledgeable, kind, and glad to help in any way. The ship was clean, well stocked, and comfortable. The food was amazing and plentiful! You do not go long without food on this ship - the variety was mind blowing. Great options and so delicious! The Captain and Expedition Leader really took the time to make well thought out decisions based on the current conditions and got us off the ship as much as possible. We had so many landings and zodiak cruises and spent a lot of time exploring. The ports were absolutely gorgeous and filled with history and remarkable wildlife! My favorite landing was Gold Harbor in South Georgia - I have never seen so many incredible species everywhere! We were surrounded by wildlife and it was like being on another planet. This adventure far exceeded my expectations and I am so grateful for this journey! I completely understand why people keep coming back! Hoping to do the Arctic with Oceanwide soon!

Fantastische Reise mit vielfältigen Eindrücken: Moschusochsen, Eisbären, Schneehasen und Polarfuchs sowie unglaubliche Landschaften täglich aufs Neue. Eine aufmerksame Crew und kompetente Führer ließen keine Wünsche offen. Besonders spannend waren die Vorträge zu unterschiedlichen Themen. Das Essen war hervorragend. Danke für die wunderbare Reise.
This expedition enabled us to visit places which really (really!) are off the beaten track with a very professional set of guides. The trip ran like clockwork, which implies that a great deal of preparation had gone into the planning behind the scenes. In addition, all the members of the expedition team, as well as the crew of the Plancius were friendly and interesting to talk to.
To be clear, such a voyage is to be avoided by those who want to sit in the sun by a swimming pool, but for those who are sufficiently adventurous it is a an experience not to be missed.
Es war perfekt organisiert. Tolle Teams (Expeditionen, Küche und Service). Nicht optimal war, dass die Landausflüge für alle gleich lang dauerten, egal ob medium oder leisure hikers. Alle mussten gleich lang auf die Zodiacs für die Rückfahrten warten.
Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen! Da ich auf der Plancius letztes Jahr schon in der Antarktis war, war meine Ankunft auf dem Schiff wie ein "Nachhausekommen". Vom Küchenschef Kabir bis zur Barfrau Raquel, wurde ich wieder erkannt. Ali machte wieder die Expeditionsleitung und erfreute mich jden Morgen mit ihrem freundlichen Weckruf. Der Kapitän Evgeny ermöglichte uns wieder wunderschöne Anlandungen.
