Once again thank you Oceanwide for another fantastic trip around the Svalbard archipelago. The ship, the crew and staff were all exceptional and the expedition leader and all the guides were first class. This was the third time we've been on this trip over the past 8 years everyone has exceeded our expectations.

All well organised. Communications could have been better e.g. when polar bear was sighted we werent advised for nearly an hour (it was at night). Food & ship's staff were brilliant, inside ship was very warm and no way to cool down bedrooms, room was ok but layout of 2 beds with a stranger was poor. Most of expedition staff were very short term and not as committed as on a previous voyage i had taken to South Atlantic. Chris Long was the exception and was very supportive. From the cabin on the ship, to the fantastic food, the courteous crew, the fantastic tour guides, the great weather and the unbelievable animal sightings one can say that this was a perfect expedition. An incredible experience which is highly recommended.

The combination of good weather, the impressive scenery and the abundant variety of wildlife we spotted make this a journey to never forget. Combined with the excellent service on board it was very much worth it.

This trip of a lifetime exceeded my expectations! Stunning scenery, beautiful calm sunny days, friendly staff and fellow travelers, fabulous meals. The highlight, though, was kayaking amongst the glaciers and tundra shores each morning, surrounded by the peaceful arctic magic.

Fantastic expedition to the Arctic via Svalbard! Sara Jenner is the best expedition leader and the entire expedition crew made the trip such an amazing experience. The weather is unpredictable and so are the wildlife but you can rest assured that the expedition will be maximized. We were able to circumvent Svalbard and saw all the major wildlife you'd hope to see, including polar bears, beluga whales, and baby arctic foxes! Highly recommend and can't wait for my next expedition with Oceanwide!

I love the trip

We enjoyed at these fantastic and magical tour on the Svalbard Island. We were Visited incredible glaciar and fjord, we saw a variety of wildlife including 2 Polar bears and a beautiful Artic Fox. We sailed beyond the 80 pararell to the ice pack. All of them in the same trip. Marvelous

Overall an excellent voyage: A brandnew ship, good hotel and restaurant services, well qualified guides and excursion staff. A good service to provide all passengers with 100 MB internet capacity. However the instruction how to manage one's telephone could be improved. My 100 MB was gone in 5 minutes.

Excellent touring company !

We joined the m/v Plancius for a week's voyage around the Svalbard fjords on Thursday 23 June 2023. From the point at which we were met by Sasha at Longyearbyen airport to final zodiak ride back to the harbour at Longyearbyen we were looked after incredibly well. All the staff were very friendly, courteous and helpful. Philip, the person with lead responsibility, working in close partnership with the captain and guides, put our safety and well-being first. This meant that some adjustments had to be made to the planned itinerary to take account of weather conditions, in particular, fog on our first full day and also the extent of the pack ice as we journeyed further north. Each evening Philip gave a recap on the day and then 2 or 3 of the guides would give a short presentation on a topic. These were both informative and enjoyable to listen to. The food was excellent, with plenty of choice and lots of fresh fruit, salad and vegetables. The menu was changed every day. The cabins were comfortable and cleaned daily. We returned home with lots of wonderful memories of our experiences, the people, wildlife and magical Arctic scenery.

My second trip with Oceanside, Plancius was a great ship for the Arctic and pack ice, crew did a great job finding our 1st polar bear and providing a great experience in the ice. Guides and hotel staff did a great job very much enjoyed the trip and the opportunity to meet new folks from many countries with similar interests.

The expedition leader, Phillip, was really great, as were all the guides. My group kayaked every day with Alexis, who took us to wonderful places and was very knowledgeable. The boat accommodations, the food, the entire staff were wonderful.
