Of the 25 voyages we have taken, this was the best. The ship's crew and staff were outstanding, friendly and caring. The food was the best we've had on a ship. Although every ship we've been on has provided for our vegan no/oil diet, this was the best food we've experienced on any ship. The chef went out of his way to prepare exceptional meals and at every dinner the other passengers had at least three choices for dinner. I heard nothing but compliments for the food. Every expedition leader was an expert in some aspect of Antarctica, from animals to icebergs to early explorers and their lectures we very interesting and informative. Each stop in Antarctica was interesting and fun. It was especially nice to be given a copy of the slide show the crew/staff produced of our expedition featuring stunning photos of this expedition and of the passengers on the expedition. Highly recommended.

Our expedition to Antarctica exceeded our expectations more than we could ever imagine. The crew is very professional, the boat was perfect for the comfort we needed and the fresh food that is served was amazing. We would definitely recommend the company and destination. We were very lucky with the wildlife sightings. The landings at the islands and the continent were very well organized and so beautifull to see and to experience.

Everything was planned to the detail, the expedition team was fantastic and always willing to answer any question, nice and talkative. Even when plans changed due to weather conditions there was an equally good plan B awaiting for us

I especially appreciate expedition team leader Adam for his professional service and sincere kindness. He was truly listening to my requests and tried his best to let them happen. Alexis is a very smart and professional guide. Jochem is a very funny and kind person. Sara Jenner talks good lectures but she got big problem with her attitude. Zsuzsanna Varga is a bad hotel manager. She got obvious bias on me don't know why. In contrast, Ana Sirbu is a very nice person. I got good examples to support my viewpoint if need.

excellent trip that met our expectations in terms of magical landscapes, interesting naturalistic observations and perfect organization (outings and stewardship). Wonderful cruise that leaves us with great memories and the desire to renew the experience.

Die Reise war ein Erlebnis. Die Crew und die Expeditionsmannschaft haben hervorragende Arbeit geleistet. Man kann die Gesellschaft und das Reiseprogramm für Arktik Liebhaber nur empfehlen.

Scenery is one thing. And for me the chief reason to visit Svalbard and Greenland. Others may focus more on wildlife. On this cruise the unexpected highlight was the great interaction between the passengers and the expedition staff. They gave prepared talks in the lounge, they drove the Zodiacs, they were full of knowledge of the environment through which we walked or bumped our way in the Zodiacs. And they were totally bilingual, changing seamlessly from German to English and providing interpreter services too. What a talented group. It was good to have shared a ship with you.

Die Reise war rundum grossartig. Wir sind begeistert. Schiffsbesatzung, Crew und Guides waren alle perfekt. Die Landgänge und Vorträge waren toll. Wir haben nichts zu beastanden. Das Essen war vorzüglich und die Unterkunft wie man es sich auf einem Schiff vorstellt (mit einem Bullauge :)) Jeder Landgang war spannend, interessant und sehr schön. Die Vegetation, Gletscher, Berge, das Licht ... einfach wunderbar! Wir möchten uns ganz herzlich bei Allen, die etwas zum gelingen der Reise beigetragen haben, bedanken! Super Job habt ihr gemacht. Vom Beginn der Reise (Begrüßung), über die Ausflüge mit den Zodiacs - ein spitzklasse GuidesTeam. Die Guides haben sich bei den Touren und auch Nachbesprechungen viel Zeit genommen. Auch wurden die Touren sehr respektvoll gegenüber der Natur ausgeführt. Ebenfalls das Essen am Bord und der Service waren rund um die Uhr sehr sehr gut! Der Höhepunkt war die Fahrt zum 81° Breitengrad im Packeis und dann haben wir noch einem Polarbären sehen. Ein Traum wurde für uns wahr!

Wir hatten große Erwartungen an diese Reise, die alle bei weitem übertroffen wurden. Ein hervorragendes Expeditionsschiff, das durchaus komfortabel war. Die tolle Crew und die Guides, die durch ihr hohes Fachwissen und ihr Engagement brillierten und das hervorragende kulinarische Angebot - all das trug wesentlich dazu bei, diese Reise zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis werden zu lassen. Das Wetter spielt auch recht gut mit und wir bekamen fast alle Vertreter der polaren Flora und Fauna zu Gesicht. Was will man mehr!

Tolles Team, gute Ausstattung, super Essen - ich bin noch ganz erfüllt von den Erlebnissen

Hochkompetente und -motovierte Expeditionsleiter und ein insgesamt stets freundliches Team haben die auch vom Wetter verwöhnte Reise zu einem einmaligen, nachhaltigen Erlebnis gemacht mit fantastischen Tierbeobachtungen von Eisbären bis hin zu Blau- und Grönlandwalen, Polarfüchsen und Walrossen, Vögeln und Rentieren etc. Aber auch die Wanderungen mit Details zu Flora und Fauna sowie die Zodiaktouren entlang kalbender Gletscher mit tollen Erklärungen zum Gletscher- und später Packeis waren tief beeindruckend. Und dann noch die unerwarteten 'Gaben' wie der Film vom Tag im Packeis und jetzt das Expeditionshandbuch im Nachgang: klasse Service! Wer mich fragt, dem werde ich Oceanwide uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

I have been recommending Oceanwide MV Plancius to everyone. Wonderful interesting trip once i knew who the best guides were. So much to see and interesting talking to the locals or temporary residents. The contrast between Falklands, South Georgia and Antarctic Peninsula wildlife, small quiet friendly ship permitting everyone to go ashore at each stop made the trip. Much sympathy for passengers on the big cruise ships who were queuing forever. The hikes were very short but left plenty of time to study the seals and penguins. I look forward to going again earlier in their summer to see newborn seal pups. The teenagers were quite lively!
