I loved the expedition in all its aspects. Sara and team gave their utmost to make this a special, once-in-a--lifetime event, as did the ship and hotel staff. We certainly regretted the restrictions caused by the avian flue and biosecurity regulations, but they are a fact and certainly make sense.
The whole trip was a great experience, even though I struggled with the ecological issues of traveling so many miles with the unavoidable climate impact.
Surpassed my expectations! Spectacular ice, so many penguins! Great service!

Antarctica is magical and Oceanwide made it an incredible experience. All of the crew made an unexpectedly genuine effort to get to know you and your name individually. The guides knowledge about the wildlife and geology added so much value to the trip and made it entirely unforgettable.
The expedition experience was wonderful and exceeded my expectations.
Never tought ice would be so inspirational. Also stunning to be so close with wildlife. Overall an amazing experience with an outstanding team of professionals on board.

A well organised trip, catering for a wide range of ages and peoples abilities. Some very good lectures. Plenty of good food and a nice comprehensive library.
I will make this a simple review for my end of November/early December 2023 Basecamp trip. From top to bottom every single aspect of the trip was incredible. Pictures and words do not express how amazing my experience was and I have been fortunate to travel quite extensively and have many types of travel experiences. Also, all the staff were above and beyond friendly adding to the family vibe of the trip while doing their job at a 5 star level. The value for money aspect I feel was incredible as well. When people ask me so how was your trip I simply say the most amazing trip of my life and I am glad I chose Oceanwide Expeditions as the company I took the journey with!!!
We had the greatest trip with Oceanwide Expeditions. I honestly did not know what to expect going into the trip and imagined that Antarctica would be just a place to check off the list. I couldn't have been more wrong, and I am already trying to figure out how to go back. I can't speak for any of the other expedition services, but I can say with certainty that you couldn't do it better than Oceanwide. The staff, ship, activities, food, and experience are beyond first class.
The best company, activities and staff ever. The captain also excellent and professional (we had a rough drake passage).
