Amazing trip to the high Arctic. Beautiful scenery. The wildlife encounters were truly spectacular, we kept at a sensible distance so they were not disturbed. Zodiac cruises were fun but still had quiet moments just to enjoy natures sounds. Great ship with wonderful and knowledgeable staff. Extraordinary part of the world.
Excellent trip with lots of wildlife and great staff. Highlight: seeing the polar bear on the pack ice and make our ownn landing on the pack ice. Phantastic to receive the trip log afterwards to keep our memories alive!
Fantastic experience
A fantastic trip, well organized down to the last detail, delicious food, fantastic, sweet, professional, knowledgeable staff and crew. Learned, seen and enjoyed a lot. Every day a beautiful day, many thanks to everyone who made this possible.
Amazing trip with an amazing crew! We had wonderful wildlife sightings during our trip. Also, the daily lectures of the guides were very nice and informative (both for. laymens and more experienced passengers). All the other services on the boat were excellent and everyone of the crew was very nice and friendly. The only tip I could think of is grouping the passengers into groups during the hike on svalbard based on preferred hike length. I ended up doing a short hike which was still very nice, but I would rather have hiked with a different group to get some steps in:)
The 'arctic expedition' was a nice experience, the expedition team was professional and friendly, communicative. There were some issues with our cabin
Everything about the trip was excellent. The expedition team, the ship's crew and the hotel team all worked together towards giving the passengers an inspiring, informative, enjoyable and memorable expedition experience. Our safety was paramount, enabling everyone to see the wildlife and scenery was clearly important to the 'crew' and the social and organisational skills, knowledge and harmony of the expedition team impressive.
Fantastic journey. Everything pico bello ! Service top! Boat clean! Great atmosphere! Safety first. Wonderful crew. Great food. You get addicted to this kind of experiences.
Friendly & knowledgable staff. Interesting talks particularly from the US Army Commander of Ascension during the Falklands conflict and the UK Manager from Cable & Wireless in the 1960s.
I would have liked to see a map of the route of the ship and our progress whilst we were travelling.

Het was een bijzondere ervaring en een prachtige reis met heel veel mooie herinneringen en waarnemingen. Een aanrader voor iedereen die houdt van onhergbergzame landschappen en gebieden met unieke soorten.
Being part of this expetition cruise was amazing. I felt more then welcome on the Hondius and the staff members were always friendly and made everthing to have us an unforgettable experience. Thanks to everyone who made that happen! The landscape was absolutly breathtaking and the wildlife was stunning. Everyone says it is a once in a lifetime trip, but maybe one day I'm coming back to the Southern Ocean.
The trip was fantastic. Antarctica is worth a visit and I truly hope it will never be spoiled. The crew on the Hondius were the best. Expedition guides were very knowledgeable and I learned a lot.
A first-class experience with incredible crew, staff, teachers and co-passengers. Not even in my wildest dreams could I have imagined what I saw and experienced when visiting Antarctica. As a seasoned traveler and passionate environmentalist, I was invigorated and joyfully surprised at all moments. The professionalism and hospitality was top notch, and I can't go without giving the dining room and cleaning staff the biggest of props for working their butts off to make us all feel at home the entire time we were on the ship. Can't wait to travel with Oceanwide again!
