You have to go there to be able to comprehend this vastness and beauty of Antarctic. Its true what people say, Antarctica leaves a mark in your appreciation of nature. And the expedition team went out of their ways more than once to get the most out of it for everyone of us. Of course, the weather helped. We were very lucky and enjoyed the most splendid weather for this part of the world - mostly just when we were setting our for a zodiac landing or cruise. Thanks to all of you for making this such a dream trip.

The organization on the ship was first class. Cooperation between staff at all levels was superb. Zodiac trips and lectures were outstanding, and, if special sights or adventures were expected, a 5 am wake-up call was appreciated. The catering service was superb. Seascape, landscape, flora and fauna was what I came for; but the relaxed atmosphere created by the whole crew, and the easy access to the bridge surpassed my expectation. Thank you, Ortelius, for a very memorable experience.

The Falklands - South Georgia - Antartica OTL29 has been one of my best trip ever. We've met very favourable weather and visited very interesting places, except for Port Stanley. The few setbacks are: 1) Non-understandable communication on the intercom (depending on the announcer); 2) Lack of normal height table to work with the computer; 3) The common areas are not very comfortable, with that on deck 3 more similar to a mausoleum that to a meeting area; 4) Dinner served at the table instead of the buffet takes a very long time, more than 45 minutes between starter and main course. Better the Buffet. 5) Why , on Carcass Island, make us waste a couple of hours to walk to the farm instead of spending the morning in the wild? Who cares about English style pastry served at 11:30 (with our lunch at 1:00 pm) instead of spending more time with our first penguins? For the rest, I can confirm that I will suggest to any interested friend to take this trip, because all the staff have been very professional and friendly, service and food were good, The itinerary well planned, although a faster ship may allow one day more in Antarctica.

Perfect adventure for me Felt safe Got to know Captain Mika and First Officer Toni and all the excursion guides. The nature and wildlife were right there and I was a absorbed in God’s Magnificent Creation Three delicious meals a day and plenty of activities. Knowledgeable and friendly staff

This trip was a wonderful, unforgettable experience for our family ! We enjoyed the incredible wildlife and nature, the zodiac excursions, the lectures, the meals, and the excellent atmosphere created by the crew. We are thankful to everybody who contributed to this experience, most of all to the international crew who were knowledgeable, well organized, helpful and with a great sense of humor!

Great and fantastic expedition, perfectly organized. Everything was excellent: the crew, the staff, the restaurant, the organiziation. and the guests.

In general I think I am super lucky, nice staff, wonderfual weather and plenty of wild lifes and great landscape to enjoy. Thank you for everything and see you next time! I will definitely be back. ;-)))))

This voyage is unforgettable. The beautiful land- scape with the animal world, especially the adorable though rather smelly Penguins are so cute.... The humour, the very friendly and knowledgeable staff, especially Bill Smiths who is a great speaker of many subject: wildlife, landscape, art, sports etc.!! was a true pleasure. More lectures please with Bill!!! I wish you all a Merry Christmas, health and happiness in 2018.

Despite not managing the full circumnavigation, we had a a wonderful and memorable trip. Great to see the Polar bears and Walrus, and all the wildlife and amazing scenery. Kayaking amongst the sea ice was amazing, and seeing the glacier calving incredible. We loved the ship and met some great people. The guides were all great too!!

It was an amazing experience. I will travel with Oceanwide next time because they have a fantastic human staff.

This trip exeeded my expectations. What I wanted was a smaller ship with an accent to seeing wildlife. Here I got all I wanted. The crew and the guides were all dedicated to getting us to see as much wildlife as possible. Even though half of the guests on the ship were part of the same group (and language), staff did everything possible to ensure that we all could enjoy this trip (getting into zodiacs took incredible little time!) Once we got up at 6am because they saw a polar bear; and another day we did 3 zodiac trips in a single day! Professional, efficient and competent (I liked their lectures on wildlife). I also liked the ship; very clean, the cabin was large and confortable, food was plenty (even too much!) and of good quality. This trip has been faultless, from the booking process to disembarcation. I highly recommend this trip and Oceanwide Expeditions. Many on board were returning guests, I will also book another trip with them!

Der Titel der Reise weckt Erwartungen, die mit dem Antreffen von 2 Bären an nur einem Tag von 7 für mich nicht erfüllt wurden. Es wurde mehr Wert auf den Besuch von Fjorden gelegt als nach mehr Eisbären im Packeis gesucht. Das Hin und Her zwischen Packeis und Fjorden war nicht zielführend, so dass ich den Eindruck hatte, hier wird doch mit gebremstem Schaum gefahren.

Great trip. Polar bears up close. Walruses up close and they don't smell as bad as people say. Reindeer. Huskies. Rinie is the perfect trip leader and all the staff were excellent
