Fuglesangen bird songs

Translating to “bird song” from Norwegian, Fuglesangen is a small island that lies immediately north of Spitsbergen. We sometimes see Fuglesangen during our Spitsbergen cruises, and it is beloved for its healthy colony of little auks, a favorite seabird of Arctic travelers. An island of many names, Fuglesangen is also known as Vogel Sang, Chant de l’Oiseau, and of course, Bird’s Sound.
