Details of Duse Bay

Located on the south side of Trinity Peninsula and northernmost section of the Antarctic Peninsula, Duse Bay was discovered by an expedition crew led by J. Gunnar Andersson of the Swedish Antarctic Expedition of 1901–04. Duse Bay was named by Otto Nordenskiöld, the leader of that expedition, after Lieutenant S.A. Duse.
