The scenery and seabirds of Sermilinguaq
Characterized by massive glaciers and towering mountains that slope down into the water, the fjord of Sermilinguaq also features gentle sloped plains that make for great potential landing sites. Sermilinguaq is one of the first highlights on our southeast Greeland voyages, its Arctic flowers cutting a beautiful picture against the rugged backdrop. The Zodiac cruises we make in this area take place near a breathtaking glacier front and include landings near excellent cliffside seabird colonies.
