Jameson Land is an eastern Greenland peninsula bounded to the north by the Stauning Alps and to the south by Scoresby Sund, the largest fjord system in the world. Featuring a multitude of geological formations of Jurassic sandstone and Triassic rock, Jameson Land includes such prominent formations as the Kap Stewart Formation and Fleming Fjord Formation.
