A once in a lifetime amazing experience to Antarctica, South Georgia & Malvinas was only possible because of the extraordinary very knowledgeable and caring Expedition Guides!! The entire crew on Hondius from house keeping to catering daily meals were very professional and always willing to help. Our entire route had to be reversed due to bad weather, we first went to Antarctica! Many thanks to the fearless strong Expedition leader Pippa and the Captain who managed this shift so amazingly well. Pippa's positive energy & leadership skills truly made the entire voyage go seamless. With so many experts ( Expedition guides) on the ship, each very knowledgeable, I learnt a lot and have become more conscious of the changing environment. Kudos to chef Bawa and team for serving delicious VEGETARIAN meals! Hondius is a beautiful ship all around.
One feedback for areas to improve is that at times we had some sailors (crew) drive our zodiacs for cruising during the landings. Obviously they were not at all conversant about the sites and I felt we missed out on some information which is otherwise shared by an expedition guide. So please only have Guides only for the landing cruises.Text
