Why do I have to pay a supplement in order to take part in ski mountaineering?

Ski mountaineering is a special operation for small groups escorted by additional ski leaders. These ski leaders join the expedition on top of our usual team of expedition guides.

Because the small ships that offer ski mountaineering have a limited amount of berths, we offset the cost of bringing ski leaders on board by charging for this supplement.
