Birdlife of Saunders Island (Appat Island)

It is also known by the Inuit name ‘Appat Island’. Saunders Island is famous for its bird-life. The high cliffs walls that surround the island are home to tens of thousands of Brünnich’s Guillemots, Kittiwakes and Fulmars, making it perhaps the largest seabird colony in Greenland.
