Programs may vary depending on local ice and weather conditions, the availability of landing sites and opportunities to see wildlife. The final itinerary will be determined by the Expedition Leader on board. Flexibility is paramount for expedition cruises.

During voyages Weddell Sea and Ross Sea voyages: ship-to-shore helicopter transfers (with no specific amount of helicopter time guaranteed)
Pre-scheduled group transfer from the vessel to the airport in Ushuaia (directly after disembarkation).
On Spitsbergen voyages: Transfers and baggage handling between the airport, hotels and ship only for those passengers on the group flights to and from Longyearbyen.
On Northeast Greenland voyages: Transfer and baggage handling between ship in Akureyri and hotels in Reykjavik and v.v. by coach (6 hours).
On Rembrandt voyages: Transfers and baggage handling between airport and ship in Greenland harbours on the chartered group flights.
All miscellaneous service taxes and port charges throughout the programme.

During our “Basecamp” departures, all offered activities (including camping (in Antarctica only), kayaking, snowshoe/hiking, mountaineering, photo workshops as well as our standard included shore excursions and zodiac cruises) are free of charge, except for scuba diving .
Excluded from this voyage
Any airfare, whether on scheduled or charter flights
Pre- and post- land arrangements.
Transfers to / from the vessel outside Spitsbergen.
Passport and visa expenses.
Government arrival and departure taxes.
Baggage, cancellation and personal insurance (which is mandatory).
Excess baggage charges and all items of a personal nature such as laundry, bar, beverage charges and telecommunication charges.
The customary gratuity at the end of the voyages for stewards and other service personnel aboard (guidelines will be provided).
It is agreed that if world fuel prices will reach or exceed US Dollar 120 per Barrel Brent 90 days prior to departure, Oceanwide Expeditions reserves the right to levy a fuel surcharge of EURO 18 (reservations outside Europe US $ 25) per passenger per night; for our Atlantic Odyssey voyages a fixed amount of EURO 300 (reservations outside Europe US $ 400) per passenger, to be paid by the contracting party of Oceanwide Expeditions.
