Q: Can I travel with Oceanwide if I’m pregnant?

Yes, but please inform your doctor or obstetrician of your travel plans so you can obtain medical guidance before making your Oceanwide voyage.

We accept pregnant guests only within the first three months (90 days) of pregnancy, but their voyage must be supported by a letter from their doctor stating that the pregnancy is low risk. This statement must be supported by an ultrasound confirming an intra-uterine pregnancy.

You and your doctor should be aware of the increased risks associated with traveling to the polar regions. Specialized medical assistance can be several days away, and emergency evacuation may not be available or possible.

Also, please consult your doctor about motion sickness medication before boarding the vessel. Our standard onboard medication might not be suitable for pregnant women.
